Do you think Boucher, Matteau, and/or Pietila will make the team, and how are they doing?

Boucher got hit in the eye on Sunday. Vision is fine, but had trouble keeping it open because of the swelling so he didn't play yesterday. Pietila is a pistol and I like the grit he brings and Matteau has a goal and an assist. All three made the cut to stick around for the next six days so we'll see what happens when they implement some systems. While none of these three have been bad, they also haven't been particularly spectacular this week either.

Matteau and Pietila probably have a good chance making it is a third/fourth line grinding duo it seems and just go out and hit what moves kind of line.

Sparks and Stolarz split time....not entirely their fault though.

You think Sparks makes the team as the backup? Gibson is a given probably right?

That was yesterdays question...

Sparks could challenge Gibson for the starter position possibly, was the answer

It's unfortunate Sebastian Collberg could not be there for Sweden...kind of curious to see how he would have fared.

Nice to see Galchenyuk playing well.

Im guessing he's a lock for the team?

Garvus should make Belarus

Maybe Scarlett can make Canada too.

I was wondering that. Damn. So yeah, we might only have guys on USA. Scarlett I think has a good chance, its just Canada always has so top level guys to choose from.

i wouldn't say scarlett has a good chance. it all depends on who makes the nhl. right now at the canada russia series there is murray, murphy, hamilton, rielly, dumba, reinhart, harrington, ceci. it's gonna be tough for reece to make the team

Well that is an absolutely stacked defense. Didn't realize it was so good.

ya but if hamilton and murray both make the nhl or if there is some injuries it leaves some spots open but there is still some intense competition

Ouellet will make it before Scarlett. He'll be one of the best D in the CHL next year.

Pretty much all of those guys could make their NHL teams or at least half.

There's a chance Scarlett makes it because other guys are promoted to NHL.
